P.R.E.P. (Partnering Resources to Enable Productivity) has enabled the Ministry to fulfill part of its mission by reaching the larger community through technology and job preparation skills .
Classes include:
- Introduction to Computers
- Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Microsoft Word
- Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Certification classes in MCSE/ MCAS and A+ .
Courses are offered at flexible and convenient times to make it possible for seniors, stay at home mothers, part-time workers and the unemployed to attend.
The use of volunteers from the professional world and P.R.E.P. alumni enable us to offer classes at half the market rate. For youth who are not able to attend Project 21 and have an interest in technology, P.R.E.P. also offers the PREP-arations Computer Club. They learn to create short DVD projects and burn their own CDs.
The ethnic backgrounds of our students is largely African American, Caribbean and Latino with a lesser number of Asian and Caucasian students.
